Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian-German actress on television and film best known for her performances in films like Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. She was the sole child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. Alexandra started her professional career in the show business at an early age. At the age of 16, she turned sixteen, she had secured the leading roles in numerous TV dramas. She was praised for her portrayal as a character in Der Tunnel. This paved the way to other memorable roles, including Adolf Hitler's Secretariat Traudl Junge. The Reader is another Oscar nominated movie featuring this actress. Alexandra has been involved in many notable projects, both nationally as well as internationally. One of these is the British biographical film Control, the Greek film The Dust of Time, as well as the French historical mini-series Napoleon. Also, she was on the jury of the Transylvania International Film Festival, and also at Cannes Film Festival.
